Employees may have their shift changed in advance with WinTA software

Birmingham City CouncilBirmingham City Council has sent letters to 26,000 employees advising them of possible changes to their terms of employment. The non-school workers have been consulted about accepting flexible working contracts. The council said the move would not result in anyone being made redundant and added that its aim was to increase efficiency. Councillor Alan Rudge, cabinet member for equality and human resources, said: "This isn’t about reducing jobs, this is about more effective working and getting better value for money in view of the fact we are under very tight conditions."

Installing a Time and Attendance Midlands clocking system will produce more efficiency at the office. Our smart card technology, which is up to 15 times faster than equivalent swipe card technology, allows your employees to quickly clock in and out, with the time and attendance software accurately recording attendances. As well as a Payroll Summary and Absence Summary, your staff can book production jobs on the clocking stations. Under the Shift Swapping function, employees may have their shift for a particular day changed in advance.
