Local authorities can raise revenue for cleaning toilets via turnstiles
In just two days 70 people have signed a petition condemning the state of the Henderson Way car park toilets in Blackheath. Councillor Mary Docker said a prior clean up of the conveniences was “perfunctory”. She inspected them on Monday (October 24), and said there was no toilet paper in the ladies when and the baby changing unit was dirty and “covered in fag ash.” Residents have been signing the petition at Cllr Docker’s Moonbeam Textiles stall in Blackheath Market.
Time and Attendance Midlands can provide coin operated turnstiles to restrict access to toilets unless a nominal fee is paid. The toilets turnstiles are ideal for both local authorities and private firms to facilitate raising enough revenue in order to keep the conveniences clean. Half Height Turnstiles are ideal for controlling access in interior environments such as reception areas as well as exterior installations. They are made out of 304 or 316 grade stainless steel; and the durable turnstiles need no routine maintenance.
