Smart card clocking up to 15 times faster than swipe systems
Solihull is celebrating that more than 1,000 jobs are being created at the Midlands Land Rover plant. The owners, the Jaguar Land Rover car company, said: “This is great news for Solihull.” In April the firm announced plans for 1,000 engineering jobs in the West Midlands region, with the majority of people already in position at Whitley and Gaydon. The group HQ is based in Warwickshire, with Land Rover vehicles manufactured in Solihull and at Halewood.
Businesses can obtain a complete Smart Card Time and Attendance System from Time and Attendance Midlands. This comprises a T8440 Clocking Station, 50 Smart Cards and Software including EEC Working Time Directive checking programs for just £1,495. Smart cards use Proximity Read technology where the badge does not have to be removed from a wallet/purse. Smart card technology reads through non-metallic items. The badge will read through your wallet/purse in a quarter of a second (up to 15 times faster than swipe systems and more reliable).
