Retail unit door control system contains movement sensors and alarms

An Ironville man has been charged in connection with a robbery at a Derby jewellers that took place 26 years ago. Derbyshire Police said new evidence had been discovered which meant the case was reopened in 2011. In the incident two men entered Jeanian Jewellers in Osmaston Road with a gun but left empty handed. The 64-year-old has been charged with robbery and he is due to appear before Derby magistrates on April 23.
