Eleven community fire stations in Burton-upon-Trent, Kinver, Lichfield, Longton, Leek, Stone, Chase Terrace, Rugeley, Codsall and Penkridge will be rebuilt by the Blue3 consortium. They will also relocate the Ashley community fire station to a site in Loggerheads. Staffs Chief Fire Officer and chief executive Peter Dartford commented that the decision was a “major milestone” in the project.
