Planning for staff shortfalls made simple with iPhone App
West Midlands Police Federation secretary Chris Jones said police officers were being called into two Olympic venues because there are not enough guards. Mr Jones said officers from “overstretched” forces would be drafted in to cover Coventry’s Ricoh Arena and a hotel. Approx 180 G4S security staff did not turn up at Chesford Grange Hotel in Kenilworth last week to be accredited for Olympic football. Instead West Midlands Police, Staffordshire, West Mercia and Warwickshire would secure the hotel, where football teams are staying.
Planning for staff shortfalls is a troublesome HR job made simple with technology from Time and Attendance Midlands who have been manufacturing, installing and supplying time clocking solutions since 1991. One of our solutions is a Mobile Self Service Module iPhone Application containing a set of clocking and absence related self service features. The iPhone App allows work force colleagues to clock IN or OUT, request a period of absence, view their remaining leave entitlements and much more.
