Walkwood CofE Middle School has been urged to ‘spend a penny’ to support the World Toilet organisation. Fellow Redditch pupils teamed up with Himbleton CofE First School to raise funds for the construction of toilets at St Matthews School, Africa. The schools have been supporting the World Toilet organisation to raise awareness that some 2.6 billion people every day do not have access to proper, clean sanitation. Among the various events the Walkwood International links Team organised a traditional fete.
