Car manufacturer to double Coventry facility

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has revealed plans to double its advanced engineering and design centre at Whitley in Coventry, a move that would see multiple new jobs created in the area, a recent news report in the local business media has been able to reveal.

JLR has completed the acquisition of an additional 62 acres at the site and will double the current 55 acre facility and revealed that the investment will support the company’s creation of high tech ultra-low emission vehicles.
