Meat and food-to-go retailer to create new jobs in West Bromwich

A listed fresh meat and food-to-go retailer will create multiple new jobs in West Bromwich with the opening of its new local outlet, a news report has revealed.

Crawshaws will open its largest Fresh Meat Factory Shop to date in West Bromwich following a £250,000. The new launch forms part of a wider £200m strategy to open 200 stores and create 2,500 jobs by 2022.

The Fresh Meat Factory Shop is based on Dudley Road and is due to open mid-June, creating 20 new jobs.

Chief executive Noel Collett, who is spearheading the expansion after joining last year from Lidl, added the West Bromwich opening is a "significant economic move".
