Plans put forward for residential and industrial developments in Leicestershire

Plans for building more than 150 homes in Leicestershire and 50,000 sq ft of industrial units have been put forward, a news report in the local media has been able to suggest. 

Canmoor Developments has submitted the three applications to Blaby District Council for land at an industrial park called the Whittle Estate off Cambridge Road, Whetstone.

The first outline planning application would involve 85 homes being constructed while the second is for 78 properties. Both sites are currently used as car parks.

The third proposal is for nine buildings comprising industrial/ storage and distribution uses on land currently occupied by industrial buildings vacated by Babcock in November 2014.
