Access scanner incorporates time attendance and all in one security system
A man who is thought to be an Eastern European metal thief contracted severe burns while allegedly attempting to steal from a substation at Oldbury. The man was taken to hospital in Birmingham at the weekend with 60 per cent burns after an explosion at the West Midlands depot, and he is in a critical condition. The 21-year-old was thought to have been stealing cable, and episodes like this have called for a clampdown on metal thefts.
Time and Attendance Midlands can install a combined time attendance and access control system which provides your site with an all-in-one security system where the same smart cards are used to register clocking data and operate access scanners. The T340x series of high speed access control clocking stations use smart card technology to scan your access control card by simply presenting your card within 100mm to 150mm of the scanner.
