Coin operated turnstiles provide useful audit trail to count visitor numbers
Sponsors are being called upon to secure the future of public toilets in Dovedale. The toilets cost £17,000-a-year to run and are proving to be too expensive, said a Derbyshire park authority. A public meeting on the future of the toilets will be held in the village of Thorpe on November 1, 2011. The toilets are housed within the car park at Dovedale, which is privately owned, while the surrounding land belongs to the National Trust.
Time and Attendance Midlands can install access control coin operated turnstiles which solve the problem of paying for expensive public conveniences. The coin mechanism can be programmed for virtually any combination of coins with a secure cash box to hold the coins. Available are additional counters to count the number of entries made – this along with the coin count can provide a useful audit trail to plan for visitor numbers. Styled in a tripod design, both single and double half height turnstiles are available allowing you to double your throughput.
