The leak occurred earlier this morning (Thursday), and headteacher Kate Clark said staff arriving at the building noticed a “very strong” smell of gas. The school gates were immediately locked to stop pupils arriving, while staff and children were moved from a school building. The school is closed for the rest of today but Ms Clark said she hoped it would be open tomorrow (Friday).

A complete smart card time and attendance system for all sizes of companies from Time and Attendance Midlands has Fire Roll Call facilities. Fast employee search is one of its features and fast evacuation is another in the event of a fire or other emergency. Employees simply log themselves on and off site using either a contactless smart card or key fob. If an emergency occurs, the fire roll call software annunciates the emergency whilst simultaneously activating your existing warning system.
