Parcel delivery firm to create 90 new jobs in Lincoln

One of the UK’s largest parcel delivery firms has revealed plans to create up to 90 new jobs in Lincoln after entering an agreement to take up a 42,783 sq ft depot unit on an industrial development which was recently granted planning permission, a recent news report has been able to reveal.

DPD has signed a 20-year lease on the unit at Network 46. Work is set to begin on site shortly and should be completed by April 2016.

The owner of Network 46 was advised by Graftongate, Bilfinger GVA and Pygott & Crone.

"With the development of the A46 dual carriageway, Lincoln has opened the doors to attracting more international businesses, with the letting to DPD reinforcing its location as a distribution hub to the east and west Midlands," said Tesni Thacker, associate in Bilfinger GVA’s industrial and distribution team.
