Staffordshire Police Chief Constable Mike Cunningham fears losing more officers and staff as the force is trying to make cuts of £38million in the next three years. Interview this week, Mr Cunningham said taxpayers could be asked to provide more cash to policing. He added: “Increasing the precept is something that is for the incoming PCC (Police and Crime Commissioner).”
