Proximity reading clocking technology is up to 15 times faster than swipe systems
Leicestershire county and Leicester city councils have agreed to axe 1,600 jobs between them. Some £25 million of the Labour-run county council’s £74m target would be cut from services, with the remaining £49m from efficiencies. County council leader David Parsons said: “We have now frozen council tax for two years and plan to freeze it for a further three years.” Meanwhile the Conservative-run county council has confirmed 1,000 jobs will go to save £74m over the next four years.
Local authorities and businesses can make efficiency savings with a complete Smart Card Time and Attendance System from Time and Attendance Midlands. The cards allow the fastest clocking possible via proximity reading technology, where the badge does not have to be removed from a wallet or purse. The badge will read through your wallet or purse in ¼ second – up to 15 times faster than swipe systems. The systems begin with software including features to manage time and attendance recording for 50 people upwards.
