Residue from working environment does not clog contactless key fob reader

Nottingham Derby improved pay deal Unite Time and Attendance Midlands complete time and attendance payroll system Contactless key fobs consistent read range Residue working environment does not clog the readerRail staff based in Nottingham and Derby are mulling over an improved pay deal. Management are banking on these negotiations being successful to avoid more possible industrial action by a union representing East Midlands Trains (EMT) employees. Depot workers represented by Unite were poised to take action over pay and reduced pension contributions, but are thinking again. Unite represents about 175 workers at EMT, out of a total of more than 2,000. Management and unions did not want to comment while negotiating.

Time and Attendance Midlands can provide a complete smart card time and attendance payroll system. Contactless key fobs can be used to clock in using well-proven and reliable RF (Radio Frequency) reading technology, which gives a consistent read range and is unaffected by most external conditions. As there is no physical contact between the key fob and the reader, neither will become worn-out by continuous use – unlike swipe readers. Residue picked up from the working environment does not clog the reader.
