Up to 100 jobs to be created in West Midlands following Chinese investment

A Chinese auto group will create up to 100 new jobs in the West Midlands after acquiring an 80,000 sq ft base at Birmingham Business Park, a recent news report has been able to find.

Changan Automotive is one of China’s top four automotive groups and had considered bases in Coventry and Birmingham city centre before striking a deal at Birmingham Business Park. The new Changan operation will focus on powertrain research.
