Water retailer expands into Nuneaton, Warwickshire after huge success

Everflow Water, an independent water retailer, has expanded from the North East into Warwickshire.

In April 2017, the English business water market opened for competition. This was hugely useful to Everflow Water, which saw a 10,000% increase in its revenue since 2017 as a result.

The new premises in Nuneaton are dedicated to sales, and will create ten new vacancies.

Managing Director Josh Gill said: "It’s an exciting time for Everflow, we’ve expanded faster than we could have predicted, and we’re certain the new Nuneaton team will help continue this momentum.

"I firmly believe we will soon be among the top five water providers for England and Scotland due to our value rates and strong customer focus."

Head of sales Jen Gledhill added: "When the market deregulated in England, we had no way of predicting how well it would go for us, or any retailer.

"While we knew we were providing a fantastic service for SMEs, we certainly didn’t know that sales would increase so rapidly that we’d be investing in a new office, and quadrupling the sales team, within two years.

"It’s been an amazing journey so far, and I can’t wait to see what Everflow achieves next."

Many office-based companies don’t believe that they need a structured attendance monitoring system, but the European Court of Justice has just ruled that all companies need to measure the duration of time worked every day by their employees. We can provide multiple different language packs, to help you fulfil this requirement if you have employees over on the Continent.

Other than obeying the law, what’s in it for you and your business? How can you make sure your system provides you with value for money?

You may not need to know the exact timings of your salaried staff as a boss or a manager, but, for example, HR might find a full history of their timings very important if you ask them to put a member of staff on a disciplinary for lateness.

Without careful documentation, proving lateness could be difficult. Many companies still operate on a casual “Just let me know,” attitude, which make it difficult to clearly state how many absences they might have had over a certain time period without laboriously scrolling through texts or emails.

With our centralised time and attendance system, HR can see everyone’s clocking data for whom they have permission, and quickly and easily export this or format it into reports using our report wizard or advanced report creation settings.

Staff can clock in either using our physical terminals, which work with fingerprints and/or radio-frequency smartcards, or if physical terminals cannot be installed then we offer an online/app-based clocking in service called the Self-Service Module (SSM) which would be perfect.

The mobile app version can also utilise GPS to tell you the location of employees as they clock in, which is useful for remote workers.
