WinTA PC Clock helps schools with their attendances

school days lost Black Country and StaffordshireMore than 296,000 school days were lost to term-time holidays in the Black Country and Staffordshire in a year, mainly because high prices led to parents booking breaks during term time. Councillor Ian Parry, Staffordshire’s cabinet member for children, said: “I also appreciate that the price of holidays during August in particular is completely unfair on hard-working families. Holiday firms take advantage of families by charging exorbitant prices. We’ve carried out an initiative with Haven Holidays to offer holidays at the same price throughout the year and we wish other firms would do the same.”

Time and Attendance Midlands helps schools with their attendances through our WinTA PC Clock, a simple PC-based clocking system which is ideal for a school or college. Pupils are simply presented with an input screen on their PC, allowing them to clock in and out. The analysis module within the package then performs all the calculations necessary to ensure compliance any legislation. PC Clock’s analysis module consists of a scaled-down version of Tensor’s acclaimed WinTA Lite time and attendance software.
